Camelback Pa making snow as I write. Official opening slated for the 7th but note on the web cam says they are going to make an attempt at Saturday. Hope to step on the boards this weekend either at CBK or someplace else.

With any luck they might get 2 to 6 inches tomorrow night.

Kudo's to my home mountain. Camelback blowing the heck out of the base area and looking like they may open Saturday for real. Looks like I can save my travel $ till things really kick into gear.

Yeah, I saw that on their website. I'm looking to head up next Friday night, Dec 7th.

Mohawk in CT is scheduled to open on 12/8. They've been blowing snow the last few nights.

Saw this but the text seems to indicate only 1 run (2 trails) from 3/4 up or so? Looks like it's usually part of their terrain park section. Never been there. I'm interested since it's only an hour drive but if the whole vert is only 800 and they're not even going to the top... Don't know.

You may be right but from what I can tell they have been blowing on the Marjies/Sullivan combo and Antoney/Honeymoon Lane combo along with Sun Bowl and the Rodo area and I currently believe thats what they will open Saturday. Web cams show them blasting away at the base (which needs alot of cover) and the chairs were out on Sullivan quad yesterday.

Just checked and you are correct only Glen lift will be open which means I probably won't go. Season may be put on hold for quite a while if the latest weather models are right (bad, bad news)

The NW will get pouped on, the Sierras will get rained on, Mt Shasta will experience glacier advances and the east will have erratic temperature swings along with the highly variable conditions that accompany them. I'll be here all week.

Shawnee in PA is opening Saturday but only the beginner trail. Blue might open Saturday, they'll announce tomorrow if they will.
