Had a real late start to the season due to circumstances. Noticed they narrowed the right side of hellgate right below where 42nd st fork off. Usually I take a fast sweeper from left of hellgate toward the right edge in that area where I noticed the trail just disappeared and had to really tighten my turn so as to not drop down toward the trees. Are they getting lazy with spreading the snow around?

Also noticed twilight and racers were not opened yet. Did it melt down during some warming or did they not bother with the more advanced trails?
Scaling back to "Enhance the Guest Experience" or in other words.........we already have your money embrace the suck! I also noticed that they took down the % of trails open on the "Lift and Terrain" section of all of their Mtn websites. They are currently at 65%, Windham at 70%, Belleayre 87% and Plattekill at 50%.

Went today, got 1 run. That was after I spent 25 minutes stuck on the six pack. Skied down, cliff firm and scratchy, Ike great. Got to the bottom and lift is not running. B & D lines were insane and tons of people in line at the 6. Waited 15 minutes nothing. Done about an hour, gave up. Yesterday the lift kept stopping also....

The worse thing was I was on the 6 with 2 people talking endlessly about their great trip to France last week. Sounded insanely wonderful. Asked, and it was the same group that I have been trying to get on the trip with for years, that sells out immediately to her regulars..

Not a good day, just checked the webcam from the house and the place is packed.

What a mess today ! Hellgate was moon craters, I can't imagine ski patrol thought it was skiable. There are bare spots and rocks popping up everywhere. East side runs were closed. Only Hellgate, white cloud and the parkway open. Parkway was the best, but huge brown, ice spots to ski around.

They say they hope to make snow tonight, but they need more than a night to patch things up.

still is down. they did start the guns yesterday around 4, saw it on the base cam. Waste as the wind was so strong it was all blowing away.
This is what happens when you don't make snow at EVERY opportunity there is, I call BS on their efforts! It isn't the snowmakers/groomers fault, it falls squarely on management's be it Hunter or Broomfield or both! Great Mtn ruined by greed for profit.

I am now beyond disgusted with Hunter. In the cafeteria / marketplace in the base lodge, they put up "gutters" to catch the water from the roof leaks!!

There is black mold, electircal outlets, and light fixtures dripping water. The one cashier is sitting right under this! It also extends into the kitchen, I could not verify this but was told by a worker that it does, and out into the bar area in from of the deli and by the band stage!

And it does not empty out anywhere. How they are cleaning this out is a beyond me.

Check it out ! this has got to be a major health hazard, etc...

No down spouts, also look at the windows (especially by the DJ booth), they haven't been cleaned in a very long time.

Or...you see black mold..you see a health hazard?
Call the board of health on them. No employee will..all scared for their jobs...
Black mold is incredibly toxic...pretty much an expert on the stuff...dealt with it a lot.
Or...don't set foot in the place...you really don't want to breath that shit...at all.

Does Hunter have snowmaking on the north and west trails? Find it amazing that both areas are closed (at least according to the website).
