Conditions: Packed Powder,

Trip Report: Great day of skiing at Black. For the start of what is vacation week for a lot of people the crowds weren't bad at all! No longer than a 1 minute wait for the double or triple all day. There was some sun and that helped to soften up the snow too. Here are a few pictures from the day taken from my phone. Most of the mountain was open. Hopefully they get a powder dump soon! Took 15 laps.

Fun day for sure! Pray for snow!

good to see decent coverage and at least some people out enjoying the slopes at Black.

I worry about the little guys during down winters like this one.

Thanks for the report. I've never skied Black but I've driven past it when I skinned the Doublehead and Black Mountain trails.

In the first and last pics, yes, Attitash. There is also a good view of the old Tyrol area from the summit chair, but it's not in any of his pics.

I'm surprised I didn't take any pics of Tyrol. I usually would!

You'll have to get up there sometime and ski Black. I imagine it would be great after this "potential" snowfall tomorrow! There is a pretty good frozen based layer right now. Crust is thick enough that I couldn't break through it.
