i find it very interesting that people seem to be ok with this at mt snow but when they did this at mountain creek last year. people where crying bloody murder. ski areas are getting smart to the fact these young park rats will someday have families and trying to develop brand loyalty now. its just good marketing.

Agree with catering to the young park rats who will be the leading edge of our next growth spurt (Let's hope!). Old fart skiers like my wife and I will help fund the transition, but that's life, and probably good for all.

Not so sure on the Mt Creek / Snow comparison. Look at what is left for skiers at each resort. IMO, Creek has just about nothing left worth skiing for the non-freestyle skier and Snow, especially if they don't totally forget the traditional skier, has quite a lot.

On the boundry to boundry thing, I prefer the militaries view of things, "don't ask, don't tell" ;)

I have to sneek my group of kids into some nice spots. Have been reprimanded more then once (by the red coats, my boss just rolls his eyes and laughs when I give him the heads up to expect a call). So making it simple, all open would be nice.

the terrain at creek didn't go anywhere. there where only three hits that where any fun and none of them where intentional they where gaps that you could hit going fast. the rest of the stuff you just went around or over. plus a pass for 199 come on. i can understand if you can't adjust schedual, but there are no lines at night even on.saturday. weekends are for travel. the two times i was at snow i found the terrain to be a little on the borring side for me, nut thats comparing it what i am used to at stowe. when parks are built right they are fun. especially in spring because i am not one of those crazy, sicko, goose stompin' bumpers.
