Favorite Song to ski to...

Most of the songs I ski to are from my headpod..yes songs in my head. There's a Greg Stump video from around 1990 that I had in high school that had a great sequence in Whistler complete with hot air balloons..cliff jumps and paragliding..amazing..anyway I always have this song in my head but I don't know the name of the song or who wrote it...here are the lyrics straight from my headpod.

I can't say that I have a favorite song to ski to. I do find myself often skiing with a song stuck in my head, mostly some random song that I may not have listened to in some time.

I can't say that there is any particular music that I *have* to listen to as I'm driving to ski. Again, random choices from my library for the drive. Yesterday morning on the 2 hours up to Hunter, I listened to The Ramones, a Brooklyn band sort-of appropriately called Chairlift, The Avette Brothers.

Personal favorite right there, especially the version off of "Without a Net" with Winton Marsellis (sp?) on horn. New Speedway Boogie is another one too for cruisers.

Gotta say I'm partial to Smack my Bitch Up by Prodigy for a "motivator" tune, Take Five by Brubeck for cruisers, and My Morning Jacket for anything in between. Recently love any Quantic Soul Orchestra too. Funny how much music fitted to riding the motorcycle is applicable to skiing too.
