Very disappointing! Spent the entire month laid up do to pinched nerves in my lower back. I was only able to get 2 days in. Both of which were thanks the fine makers of percocet. I am praying things loosen up real soon. I have a trip Colorado planned at the end of February and would hate to miss out on Vail.

Yep, mine wasn't so good either due to a pretty nasty fall New Years Day at Gunstock. I still don't have full range of motion on my shoulder, still doing PT. I'm gonna go try a small mountain this weekend though, see how that'll work out for me.

I know how you feel. Really stinks getting injured.....Only been out 2x this season.

Five ski days - 3 Sunday River; one each for Pats Peak and Cannon. I could ask for more days but I'm very happy with the quality of those 5 days. Skied a bone-numbingly cold day at SR on MLK with no one on the hill and finally went into the Cannon sidecountry at Mittersill. I think skiing the backcountry is next on the agenda. Maybe that oculd be next year's goal. Anyway, I'm looking forward to February. This season has been great so far and I'm convinced that the best is still yet to come!

15 days in in Jan. Haven't skied since the 20th due to a knee injury. I will be back at it on sat so hopefully feb will be better. Jan seems to be my month for injuries. Last year it was my back, this year my knee. Damn it is hell to get older! But it is better than the alternative.

4 days in january, which is up from 0 last year, and only 2 the year before. One powder day, other three days were excellent. All 4 at loon. I feel like i made great strides in technique, and i'm looking forwards to a killer February.

5 days, all weekends at the Loaf. The total isn't great, but the conditions were good and the good times rolled. Looks like we'll take this weekend off.

I had a great January. I skied Burke for the first time and loved it. I skied Cannon, Wildcat for $9, Gunstock a couple of times and WaWa a few times.

8 days (Whiteface, Windham and Hunter) but I injured myself on the 8th. Probably an ACL tear, MRI results not in yet.

I had to be overseas in December, so that was only 1 day. I missed out on that as well. Not a good year overall. :(

Better than most due to my always crazy January scheduling. Eight days total (January is usually my lowest day total of the season in the December through April range) with five powder days including last Saturday's epic knee deep day at Jay. Two stellar backcountry adventures were also had. I stayed home the weekend after the rain/freeze cycle so that ruled out at least one weekend of skiing that could have been better but January freezes are nothing new. Got back into racing down at Pat's and had two days down there. Overall, it was a good month.

I got 3 days in january, and luckily each one was a fresh snow day. It's amazing how the last week of crappy weather has influenced me to think I had a crappy january. I had to take a look back to remember that I still had 2 great powder days and 1 good 4" on crust day. Still waiting for those epic pow days though....

I skied 7 out of 9 possible weekend/holiday days in the month. The only memorable day was New Years day where it had snowed 8-10" by the time the lifts stopped spinning and nobody was there. There were some OK days where there was enough natural snow to ski the trees and the natural snow trails but you had to get the on-the-map stuff early.

10 days in Jan. Typical Jan. Got warm got cold. December was better, but I consider December a big bonus. No vacation days taken in Jan. One holdiay weekend. Looking forward to the 2nd 1/2 of the season. Alot of long weekends and days off coming up.

Four really good days.........

Had two great days early January, was still skiing all the woods at Snow Jan 5. Mt. Snow was still good on the 19th recovering from the warm-up, needed a little more for woods and more natural terrain, and spent last Saturday at Sunapee for the first time ever, which made it a good day even though woods were closed! Only (4) days after a record (11) in November/December. So I'm with Billski waiting for that little bit more to get things going then dissappear for an extra long weekend. I can't beleive I didn't use a vacation day in January - just like last year! Come-on February and March!
