Ok so don't hate me for what I'm about to say.

Skinning tucks through June (hopefully July as well).
A-basin in May.
Portillo Chile in August.

If I can ski the month of September that would complete a 12 month solid block of skiing!

I'll probably do some boating and hiking too...

No drooling. I told my kids a lesson I learned years ago...enjoy today, tomorrow is no guarantee AND whatever you do...don't wish for time to pass quickly, because that's the one wish that seems to come true.

This is the way to live life!

I'm still paying lacrosse. I have one game every week from now until early August. Lot's of Yoga focusing on core strength and balance (already thinking of the the first trip next season). I just dumped some coin into the old mountain bike. Besides that lots of hiking with the wife and dogs in the woods and trips to Cape Cod.

In June we are in Brewster and in Sept we go to Falmouth. Had gone to Wellfleet the past few years, but the campground there is sooooooooo strict, they drove us all away.

One of my favorite golf courses anywhere is in North Truro - Highland Golf Links. It's a small, municipal 9-hole course perched on the bluffs overlooking the Atlantic to the east and Cape Cod Bay to the west. Each hole goes up and down steeply and plays alternately into or with the wind, and the heather is beautiful. It's about as close to playing in Scotland as you can get here in the States. And the best part is that Cape Cod Light (house) is in play along the 8th fairway - you don't see that every day. 2 years ago it was still only something like $20 to play 9 holes during the week. A gem.......

Love the Cape!!!!!

Are you going to Nickerson Park to camp out? My in-laws have a place in Brewster. Besides marrying into the family, I married into a place on the Cape too!

Bvibert - just back from the driving range - first time this season. Hit a 3-iron about 200 yards, right on the nose, and the old guy next to me says, "it goes fahhhh when ya hit it good, don't it....?". I love springtime in New England......:) :)

In Brewster we go to a private campground called Sweetwater Forest on Rte 124. It's about 2 miles from Nickerson, which is much bigger, more crowded, etc, etc. One of the things I like about Brewster is the freshwater ponds (called kettle ponds). There are 2 of them easy biking distance from Sweetwater so we go there all the itme.

In Falmouth we go to Sippiwissett Campground off 28A. It's small and convenient to Falmouth, Woods Hole, the ferries to the islands, etc.

So when's the BBQ at your place in Brewster???

Tip - for crazy fun in the summertime, hit the Woodshed on 6A in Brewster Center........oh my, oh my, oh my. I only wish I remembered how much fun we had in there last year after my brother's wedding.......

The freshwater ponds are great for escaping the crowds. During the high season the beaches on the ocean and bay side get too crowded. We usually hit Crosby beach around 6/6:30 am to walk or swim the dogs. The oldest of our 2 dogs is named after Crosby beach.

As for the Woodshed..... That place makes you drink the part. I love those run-down and rough looking places. I mean that in the best possible way. Its a fun spot on the right night. We used to hit that place after waiting tables in Orleans. I'm sick of Land Ho in Orleans, WAY to crowded. The Red Nun in Chatham isn't a bad spot to grab a few.

We were married in Orleans 4 years ago this September.

It looks like we might be able to get an AZ gathering on the Cape this summer.

I love the Cape almost as much as skiing.

Yeah, I have friends with a big house in Eastham.

Talk about the elite. Nice spot, and nice beaches, but man. If you ain't one of them, forget it.

Dennisport is great too. Great golf at King's Way and the Pines. The view of Bass River/Lake (I can't remember which one it is) from 6 is one of my favorite views on the Cape.

Summer is just as fun as winter.....looking forward to going to the lake, hiking, camping, back yard BBQs. Going to do some stuff to the house (screen in our porch, new gutters, etc) Summer will end with a road trip to Baltimore to see the Sox/O's in Sept....then back home to prepare for the onslaught of leaf peepers. When thats over....the skis come out again.

You may as well had just said "Hit a gazunta fish about 200 times, right on the nose, and the old guy next to me says, 'those little bahstahhhds taste good, don't they...?'" and it would have meant the same thing to me.... ;)

I hope your golf season is as good as this past ski season... JK ;)
