Looks like a Jay pass for me again this season. Combined with a new pair of AT boots and it is like getting two season passes to the same mountain
Any one else besides BigJay and I going to be pass holders? Frequent visitors? I skied alone a lot last year and would prefer to fix that problem this season.
The new lodge is being completed for/during this coming season which should be a bit of a different face to the Tram Basin area. Looking forward to a swank new bar with a mountain view! I absolutely never stuck around Jay after skiing in years past and thought the Golden Eagle was perhaps the worst ski bar in New England that I have visited. Might even be worth the drive over from Stateside after skiing or dare I say I might even park at Tramside a time or two this season so I can enjoy a post ski libation in a comfy bar overlooking the mountain. About time.
Can't wait for early season powder and early season slacking. And my exploration outside of lift accessible areas needs to be stepped up considerably. I think I should also make it a point to get on the tram more than one or two times this season too. Hard to believe, but I still have never skied Tuckerman Chutes.
Here is to a 400"+ season.
