299 midweek sounds pretty damn good to me.

Trailboss is going to have a fit about having to wait until August to find out the College Pass prices!

Overall, pretty fair IMHO.

See my post on KZone. Lots of    :x  :(

Whatcha going to do? I am in no real hurry.....keep my $$$ in the bank where it belongs. Just would have been nice to know what is going to happen. But it looks like almost for sure we are going to be at K-Mart/Pico since it is closest. Ms. TB and I came to a consensus that we liked Pico/Killington much better than Sunapee. There are a lot of other great options....just require a 50-70 mile one way drive which is not too much fun. Pico: 35 miles and 45 minutes or so. Killington: 31 miles and 40-50 minutes.

Depends on if Ms. TB wants any time at Killington or not. $599 is not bad.....perfect pass for her honestly.

Overall, pretty fair IMHO.

A bit high, but not bad. I was expecting $700's range. Certainly competing with SB.

Will you just go and commit to the Triple Major already....Geez... ;)

Seriously, at $269 it will make a nice auxiliary pass to replace Burke. The good news is the K college pass is probably going to be manageable for you given the blackout pass price.

Yep, looks like K-Pico will be the primary again. Am going to say $299 is the price (if the trend continues....that is competing with SB).

And the Jay/MRG pass is looking good....Steve made a great offer. Just holding tight at this point.

As noted by dPon Kzone, from the season pass price page: "A Killington/Pico season pass is valid from mid-November through mid-April, weather and snow conditions permitting"

Mid-April? Guess ya'll gotta hope that's a case of under-promise and over-deliver.

Actually what I expected and as I stated in the past, "watch what you wish for" Now what happens if the weather permits them to stay open longer, will there be an additional charge?

Yes. College pass prices will be announced and go on sale in late August.

Don't expect an announcement on August 1.

Not happy at all. After 3 years skiing at Killington I doubt I will get a pass there this year.

Mid week pass doesn't work for me (since I live in NYC and have to work) and $635 (the price with 6% tax) for a Blackout pass with 8 more blackout days than I had last year for nearly $270 more doesn't seem like a good deal at all.

If you figure I can get $50 ski club passes or some kind of other discount I would need 13 days at Killington to break even. That's a lot. I did 22 days last year on my pass. But to be honest for a skier like me the pass this year is just not worth it. I would rather pay a little more and have the ability to ski other mountains. So it looks like I won't be skiing nearly as much at Killington this year as I did last.

It took them that long to figure out those prices and not even have all of the options like College and Pico settled? What have they been doing?

Did see that. Thanks for the heads-up.

As for now, just holding tight...see what happens. No deadlines for me. For Ms. TB, it is a question of Pico only or getting a $599 Killington-Pico, which is not a bad option considering that she was in the 20-25 day range....

In my mind, northern New England
With the blacked-out pass, they're essentially selling the old Bronze pass for $234 more. I was expecting them to raise the old bronze pass by about $200 so this pricing scheme is a bit over par for the course in my book. TThe way I figured it out, a $200 hike was on the high side of things. Though I'm not in the market for a pass at K, I may be for a Pico pass if the price is right.

The K pass pricing is interesting to me insofar as it may end up cuing the pricing for Sunday River. I am definitely in the market for that pass and I hope that the folks at Boyne don't take their pricing strategy from K in the event that they offer a blacked out pass.
