I know some of you nuts push it well into the summer months, but come the end of April, I'll probably be pretty much done. It just occurred to me that I'm quickly approaching the mid point of my ski season. Seems to be going quicker than last year. Luckily the better half is yet to come...

Sorry DHS. Once local skiing shuts down (early April) I'll probably being MTBing before I finish skiing. Those Nass threads are really easy to simply skip.... :idea:

Greg, look on the bright side, you got biking :) Good thing not being one dimensional, you always have something to make you happy.

You're spot on. I used to be very one dimensional and the end of ski season would totally bum me out. Wasn't the case last summer and I don't think it will be this summer either.

In any event, still plenty of top notch skiing left. Hopefully many powder days followed by spring bumps!

Second half of the season is when I really clear my calendar, use my carryover days (almost 2 weeks worth!), and inform the wife I'll see here a few days here and there at the end of April. Bring it.

I'm actually probably almost exactly half way through my season in terms of the calender and days on snow. I have three weekends worth of commitments between March and April that will keep me off the snow unfortunately. While I won't ski as much as I'd like, I do anticipate the best skiing of my season is yet to come with three weekends planned for VT. Even if I do only get another 11 days out, that will still put me at 22 days, which is 2 more than last year and the most for me since 2000-2001, so I really can't complain.

Yeah the better half is yet to come...

March > December
April > November
January=February

This season is going by sort of slow for me..it seems like a long time ago when I made October turns in PA...I'm holding onto this season for dear life since it's my last ski season in my 20s..

I'm at the 30 day mark now. Plan on skiing till tax day then uncovering the boat. Been a good one so far and hope it gets better. 2nd half is when I start traveling so hoping for some good snows up north.
