Best Snow hunting to all this Storm : )~

Perfect storm, switching to snow on time and snowing through the night. Cutting off in the. Morning, time to clear parking lots and rig lifts. 18 inches at the stake.

Snow at 431' (above sea level) in Burlington. Sticking to grass and small furry animals. The storm is 2 hours ahead...
1/2 inch an hour. Starting to wind up.

So Stowe picked up (6" last night + 5" today) = 11" since 11pm yesterday : )~ That's a happy foot by tomorrow morning. Grab the snow if you can because not a lot of moisture and Snow is on the longer range forecasts.

I hope to drive up in the morning and will be doing a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at Stowe to open my season.

I like! I believe the new GM gets it. You see her out skiing a few times a day. Taking the good early season snow out of the equation they have trails open this year that they didn’t have last year with the same amount of coverage! Have to love it!

Glad to be on a Beautiful mountain today with good Snow and decent weather regardless of zero sleep driving up here.

Considering Stowe for this weekend based on snowfall - but an awfully long drive (almost 7 hrs each way) for a 2 day weekend when I am already going there for 3 days the following weekend.

Probably more worth it than the ~5 hrs each way to Okemo or Snow for this weekend but might just stick to Hunter - particularly if their 6" + snowmaking allows then to expand open terrain.

They got dumped on...but most lifts were not started up yet. Stowe wins on this one..it really has everything..and this weekend gondi opens...front 4 were great today
