Looking at the forecasted lapse rate...no. Then again, I might be wrong.

I just saw this possibility on the local forecast this morning. I think I'll be on the safe side and dig my potatoes tomorrow. Just to be safe.

Why??
I never heard of digging potatoes just because there was going to be be an early frost ..

In case of a hard freeze, I lose power, my landlord's generator craps out, and all the food in my fridge goes bad, I can burn my furniture and cook my potatoes over it.

I don't think they will get much bigger pally. Even if they are small....they will taste fabulous. Enjoy.

frost warning in West Dover VT again tonight, didn't break 60 today. Nice crisp weather for fall hikes. We hiked to the summit of mount Snow and it was in the mid 40s around 4:30PM

I think I'd be tempted to forego eating the potato to load it in the "spudder" to fire at a moose (knocking it out) and BBQ moose steaks over the furniture. But hey, that's just me. :razz:
