Sorry to "rub it in" but figured i'd post it anyway...I tend to be a jerk in that sense ;-)

Yesterday was too good to pass up. The snow was literally DUMPING in the mountains. A group of us headed up to Alta to throw the skins on and see what the early snow had to offer.

We arrived to about to about 10 inches at the parking lot...and started the slog....The snow cover was adequate, but most of the steep stuff still needed a bit more. We decided to stick to low angle stuff....

All in all it was a great day, and i can't complain about skiing on OCTOBER 6th....WOW now I know why I moved here.

Let's not all crowd in!

Nice! Of course, once you come down off that mountain, you're still in Utah. ;)

I spent many years living there and after all is said and done I'm glad I'm in Vermont. :)

That's the wonderful thing about our great nation. We can all go and live where we want. If everybody lived here, it would really suck. Hello AZ'ers..from Draper UT!

That makes me hate Texas even that much more! Were those pics taken in westward ho? It sure looks like the ho!

Pretty sure the ski pics are rollercoaster......the hike in was up the summer road to the first gate and up in.
