My son and I are going to see the movie Happy Feet, so at least we will both be thinking about snow and cold tonight.

Tonight I slipped into the new boots and popped in Epoch. Not sure if I'm still sane or even more pumped to ski... :???:

raking leaves. 150 bags down, 100 to go.
Wanna help?

Ugh. Bags. I can't imagine what a pain that must be. I'm lucky to have woods behind my house so all yard debris gets dumped back there. Did the final mowing today and rearranged the garage swapping the tractor for the snow thrower!

Bad karma- keep that thing in the garage until it's dumping. My dad and I bought a snow blower after the blizzard of '96 in philly which saw us shoveling 30 inches of snow off the driveway. Well it never snowed in philly in the next winter- like at all. We returned unused and the next year we had snow.
Keep the blowers away.

I have been painting the hallway today.Put it off as long as possible. No skiing, got my deer, everything ready for winter so I ran out of excuses. Damn. been sipping beer all day though so it isn't a total loss!

I was in the Upper Valley area again yesterday and noticed that the rivers were raging like springtime. Must be fun. (I gave up all but occational flatwater paddling...one sport that keeps me away from my wife is enough).
