Personally when I go skiing, I could care less if it's at a ski AREA or ski RESORT. All I do is go skiing as long as possible, go back to the room and change, and then go to a restaurant for dinner sometimes. Then I'm done, or else I'll spend so much money that I can't ski as much as I want to that season if I'm living up the "resort" lifestyle

I personally agree with you on what a mtn needs for me to enjoy my time there. Unfortunately we are in the minority of skiers. Most people do find all of the extras do matter when they choose where they go.

One of the aspects I enjoyed is the split-grooming of some of the expert terrain. Half-bumps, and the other half groomed. I will agree with the previous comments regarding customer service. When we arrived at the ski drop, the attendants took our skis and transferred them to the front ski racks. They treated us like guests at a country club. I would go back in a second. I also didn't see much difference between the Park City Mountain Resort and the terrain at Deer Valley
