93 North to 2East to 89North to 100North My buddy in college had a skihouse in Lincoln so I drove there from Burlington..I'm guessing a 2 hour drive to Stowe..

GSS hits it just fine. You can also branch off Route 2 at Joe's Pond in West Danville at take Route 15 to 15 (c I think?) into Morrisville. I think that is how I went from StJ. You avoid Montpelier, Waterbury, and Stowe traffic and the Morrisville traffic is pretty mild. I used to enjoy Route 15's turns. Either way works, but those are really your only two options.

Personally, I would take Rt 2 west instead of east from 93

Unless you wanted to hit Maine on the way to VT....

I'd say in stormy weather 89 may be in better shape, but you aren't on it that long...
15 I remember having some good bends.. but that may have been between Morrisville and Jeffersonville (on my way to Smuggs)

15's probably the way to go. I've done 15 on a windy day and it's rather hairy with whiteouts. It's pretty fatiguing to find the road when there is blowing snow. 89 has a markers and you can go on autopilot (not as stressful), but it's a helluva a lot longer.

2 to 89 vs 15 are roughly the same drive time, I simply prefer 15 as more often than not, I enjoy driving state highways over the Interstate.

15 does have some crazy corners, which can get nasty in the snow. The one in Walden got me the day after a storm back in 2004.
