Snowing here this morning. Nothing stuck here in the Pemi-Baker area but still nice to see. Still short one car so no chance for turns but S gets her car back tomorrow and I am a free man. Hopefully something will happen this weekend and I can get some Sunday morning or afternoon.

Thanks Glenn and billski. If the clouds lift tomorrow, I'll try to get a nice shot from Bragg Hill on the way in to work. I'm not sure it will clear out by then, though. It's snowing at the house again as of around 9PM.

As much as I love early snow, I have to be honest... I could use about two more weeks of sunshine and 50s. Not for my own enjoyment, but to finish up some exterior projects at Mt. Ellen. Roofing, painting, decking, etc., all to get done... but the snow makes it all kind of difficult! Not only does it make the actual work cumbersome, but it is also HIGHLY distracting  Of course, from a snowpack standpoint, the ground needs to freeze a little deeper before we get base-making snow anyway.

I hear ya on the projects! Don't get me wrong, I want snow! I but I still have two yards of leaves to clean up and over a cord of wood to move. At this point, I just need some dry weekend weather.

Drove to the top of Burke around 1 yesterday... a good 3-4" up there. Waiting for the clouds to clear to see if it's still white on top. Everything here melted except for the snow some people took from the hockey rink for a rail jam the last 2 nights.

Here are some more shots.

The overdone Bragg Farm shot (I have to pass it on the way to the mountain, so I may as well take the pic):

Is it December yet???

Go directly to December. Pass United Nations Day, Hazardous Waste Day, Lawn Waste Pickup Day, Veterans Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving. If you pass "go" collect lift tickets.

Where are you hiding your Kangol hat?

Let's bring you up to date a bit... use the word dirty in a positive context.

Example - That studder-step by Adrian Peterson was dirty.
