Didn't bother with the weekend crowds so decided to head up yesterday for a day trip. My oldest and youngest son came along. Wow what a great day. Skied all of the natural terrain we could and it was all awesome. Trees check, Bumps check. Packed powder cruisers check. Have not seen naturals like Royal Flush so well covered in some time. It is high tide right now. You can actually see it in the pics.

And it snowed all day as well. A long (3.5 each way) day trip but totally worth it. It was nice to see my sons both wiped out after a long ski day.

Taos last week. 10” while there. We got the same storm NE got over the weekend. Steeps are crazy good. First 2 pics are hike to terrain, Highline Ridge. Last pic is Katchina Peak. It hadn’t been opened all week so depth more than the 10” we got.

Travel issues prevented us from getting a couple hours at Snow King yesterday. However we got up for first tram and headed straight for Corbet’s which filled in very nicely from the little bit of snow that fell last night.

From there we ventured all around the mountain…Tower 3, Alta Chutes, Saratoga Bowl, and others. All skiing very well. Great first impression of Jackson with more snow coming tonight!

Loved Terry! Will post about it later, driving to VT in about 5 min. Fascinating to watch them rebuild the mountain across the way while they dig out more gold.

38) 03/11/23 - Cannon, NH - I was a little worried I would be bored after big western skiing but cannon is in great shape and a lot of these glades pass the Pepsi challenge with western terrain in terms of being technical and challenging and fun. Kinsman skied great. Amazon and wicked haahd. That one glade on Mitt. Good stuff today! Not crowded whatsoever. Not sure if they even sold out

About a foot of fresh snow fell overnight and through the day. Needless to say skiing was epic even with Sublette and Tram down for high winds.

32. Mar 11, 2023 Snow King
Chose Snow King today to avoid the potential crowds at JH and to get an Indy day in. The upper mountain was left ungroomed leaving plenty of leftover snow from the previous days storm. Very surprised at how steep this mountain actually is.

hey all, since this has turned into a picture stoke thread (which is great) in order to keep it readable can people format like post 306, 301 if you have a 40 line list of prior ski days? I'm enjoying this thread but it's going to get unreadable here very shortly.
