The Littles Locals clinics ended last week, so today was the first time I did the skiing backwards while encouraging the little one to turn left & right forwards thing.
I have to say it was way more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

Weird day. Started off hopeful of sun and warm temps but thick clouds rolled in and it even snowed.

#72 today at loon. One of the better days of the year: perfect weather, no crowds, great surface, wide open. Credit to loon running timbertown and 7 bros midweek.

Nice to free ski with younger daughter for a day, back to race training with older daughter tomorrow.

15 days so far. About split between my local bump and MA/Southern VT.

So far I've hit Jiminy, Wachusett, Berkshire East, Catamount, Magic, and Bromley. Was going to go to Northern VT during President's Week, but prolonged sickness killed that trip. Was thinking about Friday at Butternut, but something came up. Probably will try to ski a day of utter shit on Sunday or Monday, then it's off to Arlberg and Arosa-Lenzerheide for five days of skiing there while everything goes to shit here.

Waterville/Cannon late March if there's still snow. Then Burke for the eclipse. Maybe one more day at Berkshire East using the Indy discount. My fingers are crossed that the best is yet to come.

Today will be A-Bay, tomorrow winter park, Friday A-Bay morning. Then fly home at 4 pm

Been a fun trip. Underwhelming snow compared to last years powder orgy this time of year, but it’s been a lot of fun. I was alone in Aspen/steamboat and with friends all of summit county. Nice to do the solo and group thing in one trip.

I am a bit dissapointed in myself for not schlepping to Aspen this morning. 18” yesterday. This storm hit the south better

I skied 12 days in February, 11 weekday mornings and 1 Saturday morning at Mountain Creek. All solo. I enjoyed myself and until this week the previous 3 weeks had great conditions with a foot and a half of natural snow and it stayed cold.

I see that Peak Ski Company has their vertical challenge again this season. However, they raised the ante from 3M vertical to 4M vertical. Between the SNOWW and WeSki apps, they gave away at most, 4 pairs of ski (if all 4 knew about it and sent in their data for 3M+ last year). I think only one on SNOWW and none on WeSki did 4M last season.

Did any of you notice other apps from last season where a lot of skiers hit 3M or more? They must have given away more than they wanted to have upped the ante.

If Peak Ski Company is worried about exposure from their giveaway, they should just switch to whichever vendor runs the EPIC app.

Nobody will ever hit the milestone.

Can you do 4M??? Incredible.
I skied 64 days last winter, but doubt if I did 1.5M. Many were partial days. I don't keep track of vertical.

Same here, have never kept track of vertical. Had every intention this summer but missed the first few days and gave up. 3M is a big number; 30K/day for 100 days. I am at 76 days with months to go but doubt I average much more than 20K/day. Spend too much time chasing kids around or helping coaches to get big vertical.

I always kept track of number of days, but I never kept track of vertical until I started using an app that does it for me. It was a happy coincidence that Peak Skis was giving away skis for being able to show 3M+ vert. last season (and most seasons since retiring)!

I could do 4M, but I really don't want to. I have fun and 3M is comfortable. 4M would seem like work.
