Cold(er) weather riding

Went out on Tues. 12/8,late afternoon for a 12 mile ride on my road bike. Temp in the mid 30's and only wore cotten gloves. Froze 2 of my fingers, and they hurt for a good hour afterword... but they are fine now. Learned the hard way... need to wear really heavy gloves in the cold.

hopefully the temps drop soon as the daytime thaw has everything turned to slop around me...conditions like these almost keep me out of the woods altogether as i sink into the ground in spots...i love when the ground sets up, even better with <3" of snow sitting on top to cushion the ruts
