Deer Valley Announces Purchase of Solitude Resort

I haven't been out west in years, but skied Solitude. Great mountain. Hope they don't overgroom it.

In one of the articles a spokesperson from DV recognized that Solitude is a different animal (terrainwise) from DV and that was a positive.

Not in Honeycomb but dropping to the summit chair. Parachut is the run. Had not snowed in a few days and we got fresh tracks out in Honeycomb.

First job this summer is replacement of the Summit Double with a new HSQ and a new trail from Apex down to the base of the Summit HSQ to make it easier to access. Good move in my mind.
