Thanks. I was mispronouncing both of those in my head (OKE-uh-mo and PEE-co), along with Plattekill (PLATT-kill), before I moved out here.

Never understood why they took the French term "belle aire" and put a "y" in there. Looks awful.

I wasn't a French major, but I think when you spell "belle aire" with two skis for the L's, it is customary to change the spelling to "belleayre."
