I'm not saying anything in particular is going to happen, but you might want to check back around 10 or so. We have no idea what will open on the West Side yet, it's way too early and Patrol isn't finished with their report. So...don't get your hopes up, but don't surrender the oh-so-famous AZer enthusiasm!

We reporter 21-24" so far...it is SO AWESOME.

The whole mountain is bumped right now.... Fluffy power bumps... :)
Was there today... I'll second that - I have never seen a mountain so replete with bumps.
44 was awesome, I loved that trail especially the top.

going tomorrow. i should be in bed but i'm so pumped for a full menu of bump runs.

Plus, I've never "really" skied the west side. Looking forward to the experience.

44 is not skable from the top...
The snow got scoured from the winds...
i'd say it's skiable from half way..

44 was wind scoured at the top but I just picked my way down and could avoid most rocks by skiing some pretty big drifts.

44 and Taylor's were two of the better trails this weekend. 44 was a little thin on top, but quite skiable. Taylor's was just superb.

I don't know if 44 ever officially opened, but it was open as far as I could tell.
