Hoping for 25 more days. The base depth at SB is DEEP. baring any weather catastrophies, May 4th shouldn't be a problem

I'd like to think no, but the rest of the family's done, and with kids' soccer season and the April family vacation it's getting hard to take off and go skiing. :???:

I'm at 21 now, and visions of 30 dance in my head...

This weekend our family friends with the place at Stratton have yet again offered us use of it, so I have another 2 days there. April 6th I have to be home to take my little cousin to the Devs last home game of the season against the Rangers, so Sat. the 5th I will hopefully hit-up Camelback. The lady and I are planning on something up north for the weekend of the 12-13th (maybe Sugarbush? Or even Okemo if the seeded bump report is good). After that who knows, weather and closing dates will determine.

Yay! Go easy, though. My ortho also thought I only had a sprain at first. ;):

I have to go back and see him for a follow up in about 2 weeks. He put me on anti inflamatorys and told me to go about my day like I usually do and don't baby it. It already feels a lot better, but am not going to be dumb and will wait until he gives me the all clear before I ski.

a distinct possibility this year...

I want to go skiing and canoeing in the same day this year!

Euler,
Fun days, although somewhat tiring & a little long, but if the weather's right...the stoke of both late season skiing and paddling's early season makes them seem like weekends = too short. ...and then if you know someone who's a biking addict....ugghh, more decisions...;-)

Writing this from Summit at Mt.Snow. Conditions yesterday were great and it's snowing right now. Looks like we have a long way to go, and longer further north.

original topic - yep ski season over here. Thanks to my new membership to the broken bone club. I just hope I'm back on the golf course and mtb by July. I think i will take up fishing or gardening in the meantime.

Already got a Jan trip booked to Jackson to keep my spirits up.

Sorry about your injury..I'll be at Jackson Hole for 8-10 days in late January..2009

Thanks but after 15 injury free years I was overdue. Just wish it happened on the last day of my trip rather than the 3rd. I'll be in Jackson the third week next year. I was also there this Jan but spent that week in the Jackson hospital w/my wife. Not a good year for skiing for me. Better luck next year.

Hope we have just as good a season here in JHole next year as we did this year. Probably wishful thinking with 570+ inches so far this season and its currently dumping. Should be a 14-16 inch day tomorrow the way things are shaking up.
