And I can't wait to tell my boss where he could go! Just waiting for the paper work to come in before I hand in my resignation. And to keep this ski related, the job is going to be rotating shifts of 3 days one week and 4 days the next week. That should allow me to go over the 51 days I skied last season!

Congrats!

I wish I could get a schedule like that... with my old position there is no reason why I shouldn't have been able to... but now I have too many day-to-day tasks:(

Still in the same geographical area or are you headed north?

Congrats.

It does make me wonder what field allows that type of schedule. I know a few people that work in network operations centers and stuff that get schedules like that. jobs that require shift work often do wacky (great for a skier) schedules where you get more than 2 consecutive days off.

Long day but I think its worth it when it enables you to have at least a 3 day weekend to go skiing the entire season. As long as its not night shift. That can really mess you up.

For time when I was in the army and Stationed in Munich I had a job where I worked 24hrs and then had 2-3 days off. It is only an hour drive into Austria from Munich! :)

I was always tired, but the time off was great.
