Congrats, Andy. Nice schedule. (But I do like mine better:razz: 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, five days off.)

Drug tests aren't that big a deal. You just have to study a little and you're fine.

Andy, how does that effect your UT skiing plans for the upcoming season? I was looking forward to meeting you out here.

You can still count on it, I told my new boss I'm going. Plus, they start me out with 7 days vacation for the remainder of this year and 17 days for next year, gotta use it :)

I didn't for my currrent job.. Did for my last..
I hate it.. So degrading..

Funny... The jobs I really like didn't require a drug test... The ones I hated did...

Think there's a lesson there...

It's those damned Russians trying to steal our precious bodily fluids!

One job I’m glad I don’t have. Went for my drug test yesterday, surprisingly they didn’t ask me any questions, just wanted me to pee in a cup. Anyway as I walk in the room, there are a number of certificates on the wall. Basically they say:

"Urine drug screen speciman collector" followed by the persons name. That's one certificate that I don't want my name on! (my apologies to any Urine drug screen speciman collectors that may be reading this)

CA, Interesting. My friend runs Global facilities for CA down here in Islandia., Nothing to do with IT though, good solid company on its way out of the woods from its recent stock manipulation accounting BS.

I think we're all jealous of the schedule though.

you know you could always leave a "specimen" in the cup and just tell them you didn't understand the question. though I don't think that would start you off on the right foot.

Well, today was my first day at the new job. I walked in and my cubicle was all setup and waiting for me. Best part, there was a Killington trail map hanging in it! :) During orientation, my boss stated how he's being pressured by his boss to get us up to 24/7 coverage ASAP so that folks could start having a life, and some, pointing at me, could enjoy their skiing. 24/7 would mean that we would be working the 12.5 hours a day, 3 days one week, 4 days the next. Good vibes :)

Sounds great Andy. Jealous of those days off now, will be really jealous when you're posting trip reports and I'm in my cube 5 days/wk...

Hope it goes well.

Well, we're still not there, need to hire more people. So, I'll believe it when I see it, but I do feel more confident after today's meeting.
