I saw Greg's post in the snow making thread. Thought it deserved its own thread.
No.....you just wanted to steal my thunder...
Bob for the good news you get this, not from me but Mrs.Zee:
So can anyone who is familiar with K-mart opening tactics let me know which runs exactly they are targeting to have open for turkey day and by Saturday?
CPOW
Creepy Post of the Week... We all know it's really from you, Zee...
ok....I am pretty sure everyone read by thread about cancelling my killington trip...now I am having mixed thoughts about it. I am pretty sure I can get the reservations back with a simple call....
what do you guys think? It seems like there will be more trails opening up on turkey day then initially thought.
Will the terrain be suitable for a group of beginners and intermediates?
Don't do it!
You made the right call...terrain for the abilities you listed will be sparse if not non-existent.
Didn't your teacher tell you to never change the answer on a test if you weren't sure?
I agree with Jim....maybe that is why I never got that A on that calculus exam! hah!
Can someone please list the available trails in detail? I am looking at the killington map right now...trying to see whats going to be open.
It's about time! I guess I know where I'll be on Thursday Even with the crowds it sure beats the day of not skiing.
Great Northern to the Glades area - Rime/Reason/Upper East Fall serviced by the North Ridge Triple. Great Northern down Snowdon back to the K1. Maybe Mousetrap on Snowdon. That's the normal opening day fare. Anything beyond that is gravy.
From the snow report is appears that they are currently blowing mousetrap and upper bb. I would guess they are planning on running the cripple on friday. Looks like they are also trying to open the magic carpet area on ramshead for beginers.
