The mountains are basically all completely open. JFBB is close to 100% on both mountains and Camelback is running like 90% as usual. Who here skis out in these areas and goes often? I have a season pass for JFBB and a camelcard for the BACK. I have only been out 3 or 4 times so far this year but am looking for other skiers/boarders to head out with.

Also, does anybody have a lineup of the concerts going on at Big Boulder this season?

Became a solid intermediate skier at BB in the 80's...

Haven't been in a long time.. Post the list of shows! I was the Dead at Montage once.. Also saw a show at JF.... Forget who it was off hand...

Yeah, intermediate is about the best you get out here. They should rename the diamonds in this area to emeralds or something. When I find out the lineup, I'll post them up. I should be going there and getting some info either later today or tomorrow.

I'm a pass holder at JFBB....primarily because of Jack Frost. (I'll ski Boulder only before JF opens and after it closes - that's it.). I'm normally at JF midweek, sometimes on the weekends. The only other mt. in the area that I'll likely hit this season is Elk, maybe Blue. I rarely ski Camelback. JF does have some really fun terrain on East Mt, fun glades and nice steeps (although short lived). I feel it's pretty underrated. Give a shout when you are at JF. .

Are you sure Camelback is 90 percent open? The website says that about half the trails including most of the black diamonds are closed. I ski Big Boulder early season before Blue mountain opens but since I have a season pass at Blue, it's tough for me to justify buying a ticket at other inferior Pocono places...especially because the runs are shorter and JF/BB has all slow lifts.

No I am not sure about the 90% thing, just what I saw from the highway. Like I said, I ski JFBB. I agree with you Ridge, the East MT is beautiful and a fun ski on Frost. I actually took some pictures of that overlook on the river there when I went on Tuesday. Did you become a member of the Jack Frost Mug Club yet? I invested, figuring it will well pay off by the end of the season.

40 dollar buy in. for a 20oz Mug that is your's and they keep there. 20oz mugs are 3.50 instead of 5.50 for the 16 oz cups. I have almost made my money back already ;). Unfortunately it is only valid at the e2000 lodge.

$5.50 for a 16 ounce cup...Wow...I prefer the happy hour at the local Neighborhood bar for $1.25 from 4-6PM screw buying beer at ski areas..
