REI sells discounted Brighton tickets. I think that is it. None for Alta, Solitude, or Snowbird IIRC. You can also do the Visit SLC four-day pass. The wife & I will be in Utah next week & would like to get out for a day of skiing, do any lift ticket deals exist anymore? I was pretty shocked tonight looking through websites that everyone's still asking at/near full price. Used to be ski resorts would heavily discount those final few weeks tickets in an almost jovial, "oh, you still want to ski? Sure, take 50% off our full price, we'd love to have you. Go have some fun!" sort of a way. But now their attitude seems more akin to the Darth Vader speech to Lando Calrission in The Empire Strikes Back. Looks like the cheapest I can find is Brighton at about $100. Not the end of the world, but I'm wondering if there's anything I'm missing.
Yes, there are many. This made me think of something I've paid approximately zero attention to. Are there patrol out west commonly on snowboards? Not a big deal in the east as we lack the serious terrain, but I imagine it could be an issue out west.
Deer Valley, Mayflower Mountain Resort in negotiations about parking, lift access, base amenities - Park Record
"Deer Valley is continuing talks with Extell about the future operations of the Mayflower area mountain terrain."www.parkrecord.com
Alterra owns Deer Valley and Sugarbush. They are asking for input regarding their plans with Snow Park which is unrelated to Mayflower.I received an e-mail from Sugarbush today about a survey for Deer Valley's future plans. Thought it was odd...but perhaps related to this? Or is this just a coincidence and something entirely separate?

Did you ski at Deer Valley recently?
I was wondering if you were going to say, "WTH is this? Why am I getting it?" If I had to guess, it is because Alterra has been getting flack from Park City locals about this development and are looking "outside" the area to IKON passholders who are not in Park City (who will not be as hostile) for input.Yea...I know they own both. Still thought it was weird to ask Sugarbush skiers for input on that. Never been to DV and don't really care what they do out there. It has no impact to me, so I didn't even click the survey link as I don't consider my input relevant or helpful to whatever they want to do. SB is the only Alterra-owned property that I've been to. Only other even partner resorts on Ikon that I've visited would be K and Windham. I think just 1 day at both of those. 99% of my Ikon usage is at Sugarbush.
