True for now on the food options. But as that village location starts to infill with room capacity, dining and beverage options should expand quite a bit. Hard to plunk those establishments down before you have the foot traffic density to support in an out of town village location.

The buildout of Mayflower is going to be massive, complete with even an ice ribbon; there'll definitely be more dining options and everything else. Where the workers are going to come from is anyone's guess, as workers can no longer afford to live here; and it's not easy convincing everyone to make the Parley's climb every day, which is a real slog of a drive in inclement weather. More temporary Argentinians and Costa Ricans would be my guess, like the Vail employees I met recently who crowd 15 people into a 2BR house in Colorado. I wondered if the owners are aware (I didnt ask).

Agree!

It's like the Seaport Distrcit in Boston, when they 1st built the Convention Center there, it was pretty barren for surrounding hotel rooms, dining options, etc. Now it's full of dining and entertainment and room options, but that process took a solid 15 years, and had the Covid year shenanigans some what in the middle of what was a decent growth phase for the area, before getting back on the growth trajectory

What they've done with the Seaport district in Boston is amazing. The area is very vibrant now. Same with the Wharf area in DC which was barren as well 10 or 12 years ago. If the Mayflower area gets half as good as either of those places one day it will be a success.

Agree on the employee front. But to be honest, that is not just a western issue. Even up here in Maine, it has become a real problem at both SR and SL especially.
