Day #12 overall but #1 at loon. Surface was something thicker than mashed potatoes, maybe oatmeal. Coverage excellent, 2100' vertical worked the legs, only complaint is their obsession with the gondola. Nobody skiing today wanted to take their skis off and ride in that box. Early and late season should be 7 bros and north peak. Whales under the 8, speakeasy and can't dog ready to be pushed out. Upper flume appears to be next.

Nice! Couldn’t agree more about the gondola. Might be my least favorite lift. Just doesn’t move enough people efficiently to be the only lift open from the base. Much preferred last year’s Kanc8 and North Peak early season plan.

Skied the new Goat Path today. Good snow on Seneca.
I should get my ass up to Sugarbush.

Good snow on the west side, Seneca was again particularly nice. Took my first rides on the new lift 7. Still finishing the bridge over parking at Overlook. Wanatuska was top to bottom snowmaking whales; nice edgeable snow.

Nice powder day, insane amounts of people on the mountain. Singles line for the RPG when I took a lunch run was wrapped around the whole village. Thankfully I got to skip the line all day besides lunch. Here again tomorrow then going to do AltaBird for the scraps on Tuesday.

Update: they dropped the ropes for some woods trails and it was amazing…

A very sketchy start to the day with very low visibility from fog and freezing mist. Took it pretty slow all morning mainly staying in Jordan and Aurora. Decided to go over to Locke before planning to call it a day and then the snow started to fall and visibility got better! What was going to be an 8-12 day turned into 8-3pm day. Fun day!

Day 1 at BW with 3” of fresh. Decent amount of ungroomed fresh turns. Sticky up top.

Got even more snow, plus more woods got opened. Lapped the trees for four hours and called it a day. Pretty heavy snow but was still awesome.

A cold, but stellar day. Felt like there was maybe 20 people skiing the whole mountain all day. There is amazing coverage on all the trails open with just natural snow. Everything that could be accessed from the x-cut below Sluice Headwall was open. And honestly it looked like everything could’ve been opened from Spillway x-cut. The glades still need another good storm. Best runs were Skidder, Sluice, Wedge, and Boomauger to either Pole Line or Springboard. (All open on natural)

Belle has blown a ton of snow. Everything that was open has been resurfaced and additional terrain has opened. Onteora was particularly nice with top to bottom snowmaking whales. The bridge at Overlook is complete and open for skiing.
