Got my first day yesterday at Massanutten, VA. You guys up north are way ahead of us here in mid-Atlantic. We're still in the early WROD stage. But enough to get a good four hour workout:

I’m still in awe that I get to wakeup everyday and walk to the lifts at an amazing mountain. Today was a warm springlike day, with great views.

Lapped the trees all day Thursday awesome day, yesterday we got a bunch of snow but the wind had all the lifts Canyons shut down. My friend was over there so I met her for a few laps but it was a shitshow. Did go through the trees and get a crazy untracked run but wasn’t sure if the trail was open or not so didn’t hit it again. Today was a beautiful bluebird day, free skied on my break and hit some really nice stuff.

Thank you! Hard to take a bad picture out here, it’s beautiful everywhere you look. Truly Gods country. Once you make it out to Utah we have to meet up at the Bird, the snowpack is getting good.

12/8 Okemo - Solid groomer day, felt great to be back on snow
12/9 Stowe - Great day. Lots of natural snow bumps. Skied myself into oblivion. rewarded with many beers.
12/10 Killington - Foggy but soft snow. Skied 8-10:30 to avoid the rain and head back south to PA

K skied well Wed and Thurs. Naturals skied the best, old SS was exceptional. Trees still bony. Another foot of snow would be the ticket but doesn't look like we'll get that soon.

Awesome last two days. Lapped 9990 all afternoon yesterday then today did some laps on McConkeys. Snow was awesome on 9990 some amazing steep bumps with crazy views.

I guess you know to be quite cautious about exploring any nearby OOB at Park City? The most notorious terrain is Dutch Draw. It looks very tempting and safe from PCMR chairlifts and often boasts tracks that make it appear that others have skied it safely, enticing people who may not have experience traveling in the backcountry. View of Dutch Draw, it is located just beyond the backcountry access gate at the top of the Ninety Nine 90 lift on the Canyons Village side of PCMR.

Yes very cautious up there. They actually permanently closed the 9990 gate i believe. You have to hike up from Peak 5 to get to that zone now.

Great weather, snow and skiing at Belle today. Kudos to the snowmaking crew the lift 7 area skied great. Too bad the rain is coming, a foot of snow on top of what's at Belle now would be pretty nice.
