it is a muddy mess and massive boulders all over, but they did grade it. a lot of machines..and for some reason, 2 parts of a double wide trailer are by the tubing park.
ski bowl road is closed so there is now a lot of pipe and materials in the lower lot.

Zip line is still being removed, and they can;t decide when Van Winkles is open ....still a vail fail mess
Oh boy..........thanks. We would love to see some pictures. Maybe it will be better before the "Octoberfests" start.

At last - as rumored for the last couple years - it's official. More psyched about E getting replaced by B than B getting replaced by a new six-pack.

agree. the last thing they need is more uphill capicitly.

Also, How are 6 begineers going to get off that lift. B stops all the time now as people cannot get off it. And now they will have to cross mid station to get to gun hill and ike. That is going to be something to see ...........

I will definitely be glad for more uphill capacity from base increasing roughly 33% from 12 seats to 18. Way more bothered by weekend Flyer lines than by anything else on mountain, and there will be plenty of non beginners using these lifts to avoid that.

And detachable lifts are easier for beginners.

That's less of a worry if you assume that most absolute beginners get their first lift loading experience on C Lift. Yes, there'll always be some never-evers who go right to B, and may God protect them (I saw some poor apparent-newbie lady waddle a few steps out and get decked by a B chair last winter- that was also on the newbie liftie). But I'd think they're in the minority.

The bass lodge roof is now so much worse with the leaks and mildew it is unbelievable. The roof was leaking thru the light fixture in the bar yesterday afternoon, The mold is 3X what is was during the ski season. Disgusting and unhealthy.

On the plus side, they put new stair guards on the steps inside.

That is crazy and unhealthy!! How do they get away with that? Where's the building inspector?

So, Windham "Club" is only going to sell 2 day tickets on weekends. (F&S or S&S), That means anyone that wants to ski just 1 day on the weekend will not be able to unless they buy a "limited amount" of 2 day tickets to Windham.

That means the Hunter will be even more crowded on weekends and Fridays. What a SS that is going to be.......

They moved the Octoberfest inside today due to the rain. The town has received 2+ inches of since last night and it is still pouring so I am sure that roof is pouring also!!. Main st in Windham is flooded, they had day 1 of their fall festival today...
