I never have in the past. For me, it's mostly a geography limitation. When areas that are close enough to me for turn earning close for the season, there's usually still some lift-serviced to be had. By the time all or most of the lifts are shut down, most of the snow at the local hills is gone.
This year may be different. I think there will be skiable snow at Sundown well into April so I may make a few jaunts there next month. I may even hike Hunter in May depending on what they hold on to, but who knows. I'd like to keep lift-serviced skiing at least until April 15 this year. Hard to believe that's less than 4 weeks away...
