Now that it's April 1st, how many of you have finished skiing/snowboarding for the season?

I had a lot of other stuff going on, so I ended my season a few weeks ago.

I go down kicking and screaming. This time of the year I tend to ski in the am hike in the afternoon or catch some rays. Can't give it up. At least to 2nd weekend in May I'll be out.

Heading to Butternut to finish out the local season here this afternoon. Then off to Sugarloaf next Friday for Reggae Fest and three more days of skiing. Beyond that is uncertain, but a trip to Jiminy (if open) or Hunter is not out of the question...

Hunter this weekend and next, then Belleayre after that. April will wind up with a trip to Tucks/Wildcat with my oldest son.

May? Who knows, probably at least a weekend at K.

Most likely, yes. Too much stuff going on. Did play hookey yesterday and went to Okemo. If I can sneak another, I will. But......

I'm not ready to quit yet.. I'm going up to ski the river this Sunday and hoping that there will be a couple of more good weekends to go in April.

They're not my strong suit (never did write up any details about my MRG trip), but since it will be his first time there I will take as many pics as possible and write something up.

Absolutely not done yet. Not until the last area within 5 hours is closed, anyway. I'm really annoyed about this rain, though. If it's the toad-strangler it's looking like, I'm going to lose an entire, very important weekend, especially since my brother's wife is due to squeeze out a young'un sometime in the next couple of weeks. The kid will just have to wait for a visit from his uncle until there's no skiing.

Usually my season hasn't ended until the annual spring trip(s) to Tucks. That is typically the last full weekend in April, then any weekend after that the weather cooperates with. I injured my back last week though, and skiing ins really painful right now, so who knows if the season has ended for me.. I hope to get a few more turns in before May though!

Over?! Ski season's just heating up! (literally, unfortunately) Now's the time when all those cold chairlift rides pay off with warm days of sunshine, soft bumps, easy carves, and daylight savings-enhanced apres-skiing! I'm still hoping/planning to hit Tahoe around May 1 with a friend and have six days planned in the next couple of weeks to squeeeeeze out the snow. Besides, Arapahoe Basin in CO is always a good choice for Memorial Day skiing, not to mention the incomparable Tuckerman Ravine!

blacknblue- I mean this in the kindest possible way- You suck. And I think I speak for all of us in the NE facing boatloads of areas closing because it's raining.
