Awesome that many areas are willing to extend their seasons. Let's start a list and discuss here. So far, those that have officially extended are:

Mount Snow
Wildcat
Jiminy
Hunter

Any others?

Just received from Okemo:

CLOSING DAY EXTENDED THROUGH APRIL 22!

I still can't believe my eyes when I look out the window. The snow is coming down heavy right now and is expected to keep falling through 8 pm tonight. All told, we are expecting 8-12" of new snow which will make for some fantastic conditions on the mountain. Today we're skiing and riding on 61 trails with 4 lifts. The weekend forecast also looks good, with temperatures in the mid 30's to low 40's. It is literally more like February than April here at Okemo!

We've got great Spring lift ticket pricing in effect (just $49 for adults today), an online ticket deal where you buy one lift ticket and get a second one for half off, and terrain for all abilities out of the Okemo Clocktower Base Area.

I'd also like to update our Flex Card Holders. With our "ski the last two days of the season free" promotion, you'll be happy to hear you now have a choice of this Saturday and Sunday, or next Saturday and Sunday to ski free. How's that for a deal? Just present your card at the ticket window and let them know you are here to ski for free!

And finally, if you are looking for a weekend escape you just won't be able to pass up this deal...book a two-day Ski & Stay package at Okemo this weekend and enjoy rates from $77.15 pp/day! Sample package is based on 2 adults and 2 juniors in a one bedroom Okemo Mountain Lodge unit and includes lift tickets, taxes, and access to the new Spring House at Jackson Gore! Call 1-800-78-OKEMO to book today.

So what do you say? Are you up for another great weekend on the slopes?

Our plan at The Bush is everyday at Lincoln Peak with as many lifts and trails as possible until Sunday, April 22nd and will reopen the next weekend if we have the snow conditions to do so. After that ?????. Perhaps! We are still 100% open at LP with Gate House, North Lynx, Bravo, Heaven's Gate and Castlerock lifts running everyday. If we have ski school demand we can also run Welcome Mat and Village. We also clear Valley House everyday in case we need it.

Last night we groomed Twist anticipating today's snowfall in order to set that trail up to last as long as possible. Tonight we plan to do Domino all the way and Moonshine for the same reason and do some snow farming at the base of Castlerock. It looks like today brought us 10-12" up high and the next two days are looking like really nice days to be on the Mountain. Roger Hill is predicting a "monster Nor'Easter" and a bunch of snow here early next week, so we have our fingers crossed. You will not be disappointed if you come up this weekend and next week.

stowe is firing up the gondola.

News & Events: It snowed steadily overnight, then lightly all day. Very cool--especially in April, when we've now received over 5 feet of snow for the month so far. Conditions are so good we're re-opening the gondola for the weekend, so come up & enjoy it with us! Join us for Vermont Food Bank Day on Sunday the 15th--bring at least 2 canned goods or non-perishable food items, get a lift ticket that day for only $25. Sunday's weather forecast calls for snow and taxes aren't due until Tuesday, so you have no excuse to miss great skiing/riding at a great price while doing a good deed!

Please Note: All of our base lodges now have flat screen TV displays with LIVE-TIME info on the status of all of our trails and lifts. Any status changes show here within moments.

Lift Hours: FourRunner Quad 8am - 4pm, Mountain Triple 9am - 4pm.

the most amazing thing is the 85" at the mansfield stake.

If this storm comes through as snow, seasonal records may fall.
