Colorado is getting pounded with snow, Loveland reports 15" of new snow overnight:-o

At this rate February skiing should be great.

I knew it! How's the video coming along? ;)
meh, i took some video but no action shots. i might put something together just to put out some moving pictures in honor of the first significant snowfall of the season. not really high on my to do list as without action shots, ski videos essentially suck.

Where did you and bum end up going?
we met up while i was coming down vermonter. we didn't really ski together as i was about to head up the jet for another run and he was heading out.

Cool...how did you guys recognize each other. (I know it's minutia, but I'm always interested in these types of things.)

I had a feeling some AZers would be out so I was asking most people I talked to. It was nice to meet you Riv.

I have a few pics that'll be up soon.

foggy? don't you know the jay cloud when you see it? :D

here are some more pics and a proper write up. the image roll overs still are not working for IE5 or lower (thought i had a solution but it didn't work) but the rollovers should work in more compliant browsers. no excuse, i know. but it is fuctional for now.

the color change is just elevation gain/loss. i can use a solid line too, but i like the color change when over layed on USGS maps. that image is made using a program called topofusion which i use instead of my POS garmin software that came with the unit.

sorry I missed you steve, I think I might have seen you skinning up as I pulled into the patrol lot around 7:40. were you the first skin track wiggle to hells crossing? I might have also seen you when I was making my final push up the northway and you were heading down vermonter? great first turns, vermonter was pretty damn good for october 21st, didn't hit one rock til I hiked over to the jet.
