I think it's been around 12 seasons total with a break of around 8 years in the middle. The last 4 seasons I've had a chance to really get into it.

14 seasons. Started at age 20. Season one was just 2 days. Seasons 2 and 3 were around 12-15 days. I then had several 6-12 day seasons. The past three have been 20+ and I should be on track for the 30+ this season which I think is going to be my annual goal for a while, at least at this point in my life.

35 years, started at 3.

Started my Daughter (3 years) this year. Hopefully she'll still be skiing in 35 years.

Started in 1993 but it hasn't been constant since

-Skied the next 3 years maybe up to 4 times a year.
-Big gap from 97-2003 where I skied maybe 3 times total?
-Got on shaped skis (used 190cm Xcreams) for first time in '04 and skied 2 days
-'05 skied 3 days (one yardsale on tux which got me motivated to get good)
-Last year and this one started really getting into technique and getting out more. Hoping to keep the trend going up.

Ending up my 4th season now...started when I was 39. Needed something to for the family to do in the winter besides going to the mall.:-x

Grew up on the Jersey Shore...only skiing I did as a kid was once on water skis.

Should have taken skiing up when I lived in the Sacramento area back in the early 90s.

Officially I say this is my seventh season. Started seriously at age 40 when I kicked the wife and kids out..............
I started at age (10), but only a couple times a year through high school, took 5/6 years off when the kids were real young, then started the 3-4 times a year again - with them on the bunny slopes..........
So in my first 30 years of skiing, I'd say I went (40) times (maybe), never enough consistency to get good. Would not leave the groomers. Now I ski 30 times a year, despise groomers, and am still improving, I think that is why I'm so addicted now - many years of suppression.......................good years, just different priorities..............
